Fisher-Price Adds Bluetooth To Classic Chatter Phone So You Can Hug Your Inner Child

0

Fisher Price has made tons of iconic toys for kids over the years. One of his most memorable, the Chatter phone, was re-released this year in the 21st century.

The updated Chatter phone features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to pair it with your smartphone to make and receive calls.

This cheerful little device can even be used as a speakerphone, so you can finally recycle that heavy poly sitting on your desk and replace it with something a lot more playful. Imagine the look you will have on your next Zoom call when your coworkers spot the cheerful little face on the Chatter phone!

Power is supplied through a micro USB port, but Fisher Price also outfitted Chatter with a lithium-ion battery that provides up to 9 hours of talk time.

That means you can always take Chatter in the car and watch his eyes flicker to help pass the time when you’re stuck on a long, boring call. Don’t move it more than 15 feet from your phone, as that’s about as far as Chatter can go without breaking the Bluetooth connection.

As an added bonus, you can also use Chatter with a Bluetooth speaker. Take it with you on your next picnic at the park or the beach and turn up the volume!

For fun, all you have to do is get your hands on one. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as getting to the nearest Walmart or Toys-r-Us.

The Bluetooth enabled Chatter is a Best Buy exclusive and only a limited number has been published by Fisher Price. They sold very quickly on the Best Buy website, because nostalgia is one of the most powerful forces in the universe.

There will be another release… sometime in 2022, according to responses on Best Buy.
